Williams Street works
Friday, 10th August, 2018
Road works at the intersection of Chloride and Williams streets won’t be finished until at least October.
The project is being carried out by City Council on behalf of NSW Roads and Maritime Services.
Council said the project had been delayed by the weather and unstable ground. Concrete on the northern side of Williams Street has been poured and will be left to cure for a week.
Crews will then close the southern lane for construction, and reopen the northern lane for traffic.
Traffic lights and other traffic controls will remain in place during works.
