Two police officers were cut from their vehicle after it rolled twice in a spectacular collision with a car at the corner of Chloride and Wolfram streets yesterday morning.
The officers, a female Leading Senior Constable and a male Constable, were responding to an urgent call when the accident happened just before 10.30.
The police paddy wagon rolled twice and ended up on its side. Emergency services were called in to free the officers, who suffered minor injuries, from the wreckage.
The female driver of the car was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital and the intersection was closed to traffic for several hours.
