Graduates to coaches

Two graduates of the Talented Player Program are returning as coaches to help the next crop of young footballers work toward their goal of an AFL career.

Heath Caldwell and Ben Camilleri have been through the Talented Player Program as juniors and after recently spending time away from Broken Hill, will now join GWS Giants Development Coach, Dale Tonkin, in helping set the next generation up for a tilt at State football honours.

West Football Club player, Brent Rose, is packing his bags for Perth after being selected for the second phase of Rio Tinto's Footy Means Business program.

Rose was part of the initial program held in Melbourne in May this year, which culminated in a football match at the MCG as a precursor to the annual Dreamtime at the 'G AFL game.

Decorated former Bulldogs player, Mark Pitt, is returning to the club after being named as North's A grade coach for the 2013 season.

The announcement follows former coach, Karl Berryman's decision last month to step down from the role in order to spend more with his family.

Justin Heath has been reappointed as Central's A-grade football coach for next season in a stamp of approval for his debut season at the helm.

Heath was informed on Sunday of his successful application for reappointment following his return from a holiday.

Women to renew rivalry with Sharks

The Broken Hill women's combined football team will renew their rivalry with the Eyre Peninsula Sharks this weekend.

They will play the Eyre Peninsula Sharks at the Memorial Oval at 4pm tomorrow.

The game will bring down the curtain on the Broken Hill AFL season 2012.
