The Broken Hill community has again answered the call of the needy in remarkable fashion, filling the BDT’s hallways with presents as part of the paper’s Christmas Appeal.

Lifeline collected three trailer loads of toys, food, and clothing that were dropped off in recent weeks as part of the appeal.

“We’re just overwhelmed by both the quantity and the quality of the gifts that have been donated,” said Lifeline Activities Coordinator Trevor Odgers.
